Agree. The standard is changing all the time... I think it's just people becoming "smarter"... Some realize they don't need SSL/DASH to make good recordings...

About studio monitors, it's the same. Recently, I've been thinking about "changing" to PMC monitors -- they sound really good! Better than Tannoy's perhaps...?

Anyways, music production is like race cars. Porche, Ferrari, Lambourgini, etc.. they all win.. depends on the driver!
