So Fred , Is that means Digimax is only got a louder output than Tango 24??

the price you bought is sound like a good deal.....

The point is, Do you think it really good to get a Digimax ??

If so . I might need to start find a new gear ....cccc...

你應該再Mark出來50000的Pre要幾軌的?
U5是我之前幫8866配的，不過，NT$50000只能買2-3台吧
Tube的速度有點慢，不過聲音是不錯!
SWISSSONIC的AD我現場聽不出來有什麼好壞，所以跟Tango24比不出來
省錢的話就用Tango吧! 至少比2408要好太多...

之前打太快, 有些錯誤:
$1899 is the Swissonic AD8's retail price. So maybe it sells about $1500~1600.
The DIGIMAX's retail price is $1499. I bought in$1271 at Sam Ash.

So Paul , Is that you mean the ADDA of Tango is better than MOTU 2408 MK I or MK II ???

What if I only use the ADAT optical to 2408 or Tango , Will the Tango still be better ???

Cuz, As I know 2408 is also can wokds at 24 bit 48 Khz...

I should ask this way .

I think the Digimax or Swissonic AD8 is the next choice to improve sounds ?? Right ??

接Tango時你是用Balanced or Unbalanced
如果你的MIDI是Unbalanced，你可以打開Tango去調他的Jumper
就可以恢復-10dB Gain，會比現在大聲很多

我要澄清一下Dragon之前說我太懶的的說法
不然人家還以為我不敬業+.+"

1.如果錢很少的Case, 當然是兩軌mix掉
2.我之所以說Dragon的聲音比較肥, 完全是指Analog和Digital的差別
3.我的音源使用拆得很開, 有時一台音源只用一個音色, 在兩台O2R上(我有56CH)調好EQ, 直接mix, 也不足為奇, 和懶沒有關係啦~

You know that i use PowerBook and MOTU828 (no mixer)...so, how do I make my sound "better" or "fatter" during tracking? Will it be helpful if I use a Pre-Amp? And how about ART pre-amp? Becoz ART has a branch in Shanghai, so maybe I will buy one in Shanghai....it's a big trouble to buy one in Taiwan or in USA and take it to Shanghai...So, which model of ART pre-amp will u recommend?

If your budget is enough, You can try the High level pre-amp of ART ...I know the top line of ART , there are some good stuff ..
But You want to get a art Tube mp stuff ...Let me tell you the truth..
It's for beginner.....
If you really want ART, Try Art Pro Channel. 2 trk pre-amp...
